Become A Volunteer
Volunteers are the hearts and hands of our services. Currently, we have nearly 800 Hospice volunteers who assist with patient care, office work, special events, and fundraising projects. At least 75 of these volunteers are active year-round.
Kaua‘i Hospice offers two Volunteer Training courses per year for individuals, 18 and older, who qualify. Each 36-hour course teaches the necessary skills to care for patients and their families facing a life-threatening illness. Practical support training is also covered. The course is offered free of charge.
