Jennifer Cheek is the newest member of the Kaua`i Hospice ohana.  As Development & Community Liaison, Jennifer works closely with the Executive Director and oversees special events, planned giving, fund development, community and physician education, media relations, publicity and other core program activities.

The mission of Kaua`i Hospice is one that speaks to Jennifer on a personal and professional level.  The compassion of hospice volunteers and staff, as well as the depth of care provided to nurture the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of patients and families led her on a life changing journey.  A 15 year public relations veteran, Jennifer most recently served as a land development consultant and provided community outreach, government and public affairs, land planning and entitlement expertise to Northern California homebuilders.   

Jennifer earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration and Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from Arizona State University.  She has been a regular visitor to the Garden Isle for 30 years and now resides permanently in Kapa’a.
